Short version: this site is local-first about your data too. We collect almost nothing, on purpose.
1. What we collect
Essential, first-party storage only: your theme preference and cookie consent choices (localStorage). Newsletter emails are stored by our email provider solely to deliver The Signal. Nothing else is collected, and no third-party scripts run without your consent.
2. Cookies & consent
We use no tracking cookies by default. Optional categories (embedded media, future anonymous analytics) load only after explicit consent via the privacy panel, and you can withdraw at any time using the "Privacy" chip.
3. Affiliate links
Some outbound links (hardware retailers, digital storefronts) are affiliate links, marked with "sponsored" rel attributes. Clicking them may set third-party cookies governed by those vendors' own policies.
4. Your rights (GDPR/LGPD)
You may request access, correction or deletion of any data associated with your email (newsletter only). Email us and we action it within 30 days.
